Bangaluru is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa visited the region of Bangaluru, known then as Bangalore, in 1965, when he was attending the Bharat Sadhu Samaj Convention in Kerala.

Gurudev Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa visited the region of Bangaluru, known then as Bangalore, in 1965, when he was attending the Bharat Sadhu Samaj Convention in Kerala. At that time, Swamibapa was the Vice President of the Bharat Sadhu Samaj, and President of the Gujarat Sadhu Samaj. Leading ascetics from all over the country were present at this debate that was organised by Swamibapa.

Accepting the prayers of the disciples living in this region, Acharya Swamishree Maharaj visited Bangaluru from Saturday 19 May 2018 to Thursday 24 May.

During this time, he had special meetings with many of the local dignitaries, including Karnataka’s Governor Shri Vajubhai Vala, and eminent spiritual leader Shri Shri Ravi Shankarji , founder of the Art of Living.

He also visited many of the region’s beautiful historical buildings, including Bangaluru Palace and Mysore Palace.
